The Title Page of the Book of Mormon answers that question:
The title page is “An Account Written by the Hand of Mormon upon Plates Taken from the Plates of Nephi”.

The Manual is a study guide filled with beautiful artwork, scripture, and discussion and activity ideas for all ages. Scripture references and thought-provoking questions guide adults, while children are invited to engage in hands-on activities. General Conference Talk
In this video, titled “The Book of Mormon: What Would Your Life Be Like Without It?”, President Russell M. Nelson explains how, in a most miraculous and singular way, the Book of Mormon teaches us of Jesus Christ and His gospel. Without question, The Book of Mormon is the best way to immunize ourselves from the evils of the day:
“My dear brothers and sisters, I promise that as you prayerfully study the Book of Mormon every day, you will make better decisions — every day. I promise that as you ponder what you study, the windows of heaven will open, and you will receive answers to your own questions and direction for your own life. I promise that as you daily immerse yourself in the Book of Mormon, you can be immunized against the evils of the day, even the gripping plague of pornography and other mind-numbing addictions” (“The Book of Mormon: What Would Your Life Be Like without It?” October 2017 general conference).

Follow Him Podcast
While there are many Book of Mormon postcasts available, I particularly enjoy learning alongside Hank Smith and John Bytheway. In addition to my own personal studies, studying with Hank and John each week, as they learn from guest scripture scholars, is an absolute joy. Sometimes I find myself listening to the Follow Him podcast while driving or folding laundry, simply to squeeze more study time into my busy routine.
On the other hand, I also like to follow the example of Hank and John by sitting down and taking copious notes in my scripture journal. In the event that you are looking for a journal, this 2024 Book of Mormon Study Journal may be of interest to you. Whether sitting or on the run, you can glean golden nuggets of wisdom from this podcast. BONUS: Happily, the hosts have a wonderful sense of humor. That is to say, they help make study time fun and engaging.

BONUS: Testimonies of The Book of Mormon
Finally, to conclude this list of resources, I’ve included powerful testimony of The Book of Mormon by witnesses, past and present:
“The Book of Mormon is not a book of history. The Book of Mormon is a book about the future. It describes episodes in the lives of people thousands of years ago, but the writers of the record and especially the compilers of the record were inspired by the Lord to include the things that we would need for the world in which we live today” ~ Elder David A. Bednar (devotional address in the Amman Branch in Jordan, Oct. 2021).
“I ask that my testimony of the Book of Mormon and all that it implies, given today under my own oath and office, be recorded by men on earth and angels in heaven. I hope I have a few years left in my ‘last days,’ but whether I do or do not, I want it absolutely clear when I stand before the judgment bar of God that I declared to the world, in the most straightforward language I could summon, that the Book of Mormon is true, that it came forth the way Joseph said it came forth and was given to bring happiness and hope to the faithful in the travail of the latter days” (“Safety for the Soul,” ~ Elder Jeffrey B. Holland (October 2009 general conference).

Scripture Memorization
3 Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts.
4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.
